My Ipsy January "Super Stars" Glam Bag!!!

Hello everybody!! I hope everyone is doing well and had a great second day back at work...I always find it harder to wake up on Tuesdays instead of Mondays...does anyone else have that problem??

I definitely perked up when I got home from work, and saw that my ipsy January Glam Bag was waiting for me!! It's kind of pathetic the amount of excitement that shoots through me when I see this pink envelope:

It was also really full, and slightly heavy so I basically ripped it open as fast as I could! What did I get?? I haven't used anything yet in order to review it, but most of them I am either familiar with, or have tried already so I still feel comfortable doing this post. : )

First: The Bag

The makeup brush was in the package next to the bag, so that's why I included it in the picture. The bag is just "meh" on the outside, but look at the inside!! The theme of this month's bag is "Super Stars" (get it??) so I thought that was super cute. So, what products did I receive??

London Soho New York Get a Grip Concealer Brush

I knew we would be getting a makeup brush in our bag, and I knew from some people who had already received their bags that they got the crease brush, so I was a little bit disappointed to get the concealer brush. I've never used a concealer brush in my life, and I really don't plan on it. I know other people could get use out of this, but I'm already rushed in the morning as it is, and would just prefer to use my hands to blend my makeup. There are things I like about this product: the packaging is very nice and sturdy for a brand that isn't high end, and I really like how the handle is made with that "grip" factor. I won't be using this particular brush, but this has intrigued me enough to check out other brushes from this brand! This is also obviously a full-size product...can't beat that! They also offer really cute makeup bags and cases, which I've seen in Target now that I think about it. : )
AVAILABLE AT: Wal-Mart, Target, CVS, Walgreens
PRICE: $7.99

Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil

This brand and product is HUGE you guys, so I was insanely excited to receive this in my bag. Josie Maran is a supermodel who started this brand because she knew women wanted eco-friendly, natural beauty products that were still sophisticated and luxurious. This Argan Oil is their bestseller and won the QVC Customer Choice Beauty Award in 2012. Argan Oil is lightweight and grown organically in Morocco. It is rich in Vitamin E and essential fatty acids. Here are the many ways that you can use this product:
On a clean face as moisturizer
To split ends as a hair treatment
On skin as a body moisturizer
On cuticles as a nail treatment
Added to your bath as a bath oil
So cool right??? On the box it says this product is clinically proven to improve skin's smoothness, hydration and elasticity in four weeks...that's what I'll find out! It's also super cool, because the purchase of this product supports women's co-ops and fair trade in Morocco.
AVAILABLE AT: Sephora (check locations) or here
PRICE: $14 for 15 ml, $48 for 50 ml (I received 5 ml)

Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter

This is a brand that I've never heard of before, so I was excited to find out more! First of all, this scent is amazing!! In this fragrance, juicy and spicy blood orange is offset by subtle strawberry and raspberry notes, and grounded in mandarin and Italian sweet orange. I'm normally not a person that likes super fruity scents, but this has just a hint of spiciness and edge to it that makes me love it. Pacifica's body butter helps fight the first signs of aging while adding deep moisture and protection. Their formula is made with shea butter, almond oil, and safflower oil and is also paraben-free! Definitely excited about this!
AVAILABLE AT: Their website
PRICE: $7 for 2.5 oz, $15 for 8 oz (I received the 2.5 oz...another full-size product!!)

Big Sexy Hair Spray & Play Volumizing Hairspray
My mom uses this product religiously, and whenever I steal it she gets annoyed with me...I finally have my own mini size!! I reallyyy love this hairspray. It really does give you volume and incredible hold without making your hair look like a clump of straw. I usually never buy it because I can always steal some of my moms (shhh) but also because I really don't use hairspray enough to justify their pricepoint. Still an awesome product, and if you use hairspray a lot I would highly recommend this!!
AVAILABLE AT: Target, drugstores
PRICE: This is actually their travel size (another full-size product!) 1.5 oz for $12

Nailtini Straight Up Color Nail Lacquer in Bloody Mary

I was a little bummed to see another Nailtini product since I just received one in my November Glam Bag, but what can ya do. This is a very nice, classic red and hello! another full-size product! I love the brand simply because of their packaging and concept, but it would have been cool to receive something from their other lines, Liptini and Eyetini...maybe next time?
AVAILABLE AT: Their website
PRICE: $13

That about sums it up!! Overall I'm very please about this bag: it had a great variety of products, and included things that are very affordable if you wanted to buy the full-size...heck, 4 out of 5 items in this bag are already full-size!!! Ipsy blows me away with that factor every single time. If I love something more than words can say, I'll be giving it a separate review at a later date!

How about...instead of a Justice section for today...I announce...a GIVEAWAY!!!

I want to say "thank you" to all of my readers and everyone that has reached out to tell me that they love my blog...it means so much and inspires me to keep going! I will be putting together a cosmetic bag full of deluxe samples and a few full-size products (just like ipsy) and giving it away. How do you win this beautiful bag?? Head on up to the right hand corner of my blog and click "Join this site"...once I receive 20 followers, I will pick randomly from those 20 followers, and that person will receive the bag! Simple, easy, fun. I can't wait!

Until tomorrow,
Elizabeth
